Have adventure in your blood. A winter backpacking trip that turned very interesting. 11,000 ft. Wind gusting to 100 mph, still have another mile to go before tree line, and some protection.

About Thomas Samida

Thomas Samida

I was born in small town Michigan, 1953. Lot's of thing's to do outside. That has stayed with me. I never quit going outside to see and experience what's going on around me. Took a vacation to Colorado in 1985 to go backpacking. The mountains captured me. Moved to Longmont, Colorado "gate way to the rockys" in 1988, and live there now. Still held hostage by the mountains, with their ever changing beauty and harshness. I go to the backcountry as much as possible, taking pictures as I am hiking along a trail, or headed for the summit of some mountain. Capturing images to look at when ever I want. These are some of what I have been privileged to see, and experience.
